Backups

Set up backup solution on Ubuntu

Install Systemback

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/systemback
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt install systemback

Open Systemback

To open the Systemback GUI type

$ sudo systemback

Define backed up folders

1. Click on “Include”
2. Put the folders you want to be included in the backup to the right

Schedule backup

1. Click on “Schedule”
2. Define your settings

Restore backup

1. Click on the desired restore point in the main menu
2. Click on “System restore”
3. Select how much you want to restore from this restore point
4. Click on “Start”
